Cooking Group at Mr Wei

Our occupational therapists and speech pathologists team up with Mr. Wei to run a fun, hands-on cooking group for kids. Children cook a simple dish together, like dumplings or pizza, while building communication, motor and social skills in a relaxed, neurodiversity-affirming environment.

Sessions are held at Mr. Wei, 20/1345 The Horsley Drive, Wetherill Park (just across from Milestones), and are facilitated by a speech pathologist, occupational therapist and chef.

Participants will build:

• Language and communication skills

• Occupational therapy skills

• Social communication skills

 

It's a supportive space for kids to build confidence and practical life skills, all while enjoying what they make together.
